Photonics research showcased at the iTEAM laboratories

The CPI Open Innovation Circuit is an open-to-all event where visitors of all ages can explore the science and innovation ecosystem through two-hour guided tours at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).

During the event, participants visit research facilities and meet researchers working on applied technologies and systems.

Photonics Research Labs (PRL), a research group of the Instituto de Telecomunicaciones y Aplicaciones Multimedia (iTEAM) at UPV, selected SMARTMOORING as one of their projects to present to visitors on Saturday, 5 April 2025. The team introduced the project’s sensor technologies and their role in monitoring and improving marine energy mooring systems.
